Given that much of Grand Seiko's appeal can be boiled down to a certain "if you know, you know" factor, the minor updates exhibited with the release of the SLGH021 represent a logical step forward within the collection. I would say that compared with the brand's more subtle dial designs, I am quite a fan of this one that's a touch more "in your face than" I expect from a brand whose identity is so based on a sense of restrained elegance.
